TourCred ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use tourcred.com (the "Site").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: account registration details (name, email address, password); profile information if you claim a listing on the Site; contact and professional details you choose to add to your Pro profile; messages or inquiries submitted through our contact form. Information collected automatically: browser type, device type, and operating system; pages visited and time spent on the Site; IP address and general location data; referring URLs. We use standard analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics) to collect this information in aggregate, anonymized form.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: operate and improve the Site; verify and manage profile claims; respond to inquiries and support requests; send account-related communications (e.g. password resets); monitor for fraudulent or abusive activity; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.
3. Publicly Listed Information
TourCred features production credit information sourced from publicly available sources. This information — including names, job titles, and production credits — is displayed publicly on the Site as part of the database. If you are listed on TourCred and wish to update or remove your information, please see Section 8 below.
4. Pro Membership & Contact Information Visibility
TourCred offers a Pro membership tier. If you subscribe to TourCred Pro and voluntarily choose to add personal contact information to your profile — including but not limited to email address, phone number, website, agency or management representation, or any other professional contact details — you acknowledge and agree that this information will be visible to other verified and active TourCred Pro members. By submitting this information, you are explicitly consenting to its display within the Pro member community for professional networking and industry discovery purposes. Adding contact information is entirely voluntary. You are never required to add it. You may update or remove your contact information at any time through your account settings. Removal will take effect promptly but may not be instantaneous across all cached views. Pro contact information is not shared with non-members, third-party advertisers, or data brokers. Access is limited to active, verified Pro subscribers only.
5. Cookies
TourCred uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in to your account, remember your preferences, and collect anonymized analytics data. You can control cookie settings through your browser. Disabling cookies may affect some functionality of the Site.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help operate the Site (hosting, analytics, email), bound by confidentiality agreements; law enforcement or legal authorities if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users; and successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; request removal of your listing or personal information from the Site; remove or update your Pro profile contact information at any time through account settings; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 9. Children's Privacy
TourCred is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Services
The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party services (e.g. social platforms for sharing). These services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
